Solomon Isu

Solomon Isu, a Ph.D. candidate in chemical engineering, was awarded a $900 NSF travel award to present his research work at the North American Membrane Society's conference in Estes Park, Colorado.

Isu had earlier been awarded the Elias Klein Travel Award in the sum of $500 to also present his research at this conference. Isu's research focuses on optimizing virus prefiltration for biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

Isu does research in the lab of Distinguished Professor Ranil Wickramasinghe, the Ross E. Martin Chair in Emerging Technologies.
