Caleb Swears in Agricultural Business Named AgHeritage's University Scholarship Recipient

Caleb Swears is an agricultural economics and agribusiness major from Brinkley, Arkansas.

Caleb Swears, a U of A student in the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences, is one of 11 students in the state selected to receive an AgHeritage Farm Credit Services scholarship for 2021.

Swears, who is from Brinkley, received the $2,000 University Scholarship. An agricultural economics and agribusiness major, he is in the pre-law tract and plans to attend law school.

Swears has served as a Bumpers College ambassador and as an Associated Student Government senator and been active with Alpha Gamma Rho, Collegiate Farm Bureau, Agriculture Future of America, Collegeiate 4-H, FFA Alumni and the Lonoke County Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee.

AgHeritage Farm Credit Services is a financial cooperative with owned and managed assets of approximately $1.82 billion as of December 31, 2020. The company provides credit and related services to more than 6,030 farmers, ranchers and producers or harvesters of aquatic products in 24 Arkansas counties.
