Staff Senate Election Results

Congratulations to these 12 newly elected and re-elected staff senators. These staff members will begin serving the U of A staff community for three-year terms beginning July 1.

Representing Academic Affairs will be Travis Hefley, Autumn Parker, Michael Rau, Ben Pollock, Myrlinda Soedjede and Tracy Deffebaugh. At-large senators are Wayne Bell, Jr. and Rachel Gray. Roy Cordell will be representing the Chancellor's division; the senators representing Finance and Administration will be Michela Cupello and Elizabeth Miller, and the Student Affairs representative will be Chantel Moseby.

As the representative voice for staff, the Staff Senate serves to advise campus administration on policy matters such as benefits, parking, campus safety, working conditions and compensation. The senate also coordinates recognition programs such as Employee of the Quarter and the Outstanding Team Award, as well as conducting the annual Staff Celebration Picnic and managing the staff scholarship program.
