Yoga, Hot Dogs, The Goonies and More at Today's Dead Day Bash

Join University Housing today for the Dead Day Bash, the ultimate Dead Day event to relax and de-stress before finals week.

The event includes seven activities during the day.

Activities List

All activities are at the Arkansas Union Mall except The Goonies Movie Night.

  • 10 a.m. – Mid-morning Yoga
  • 11 a.m. – Lawn Games with Associated Student Government
  • Noon – Hot Dog Grill Out
  • 1 p.m. – University Police K-9 and Officer Visit
  • 2 p.m. – Burton's Ice Cream
  • 3 p.m. – Study Tips Scavenger Hunt
  • 8 p.m. – The Goonies Movie Night at the Greek Theatre

University Housing partnered with Chartwells for a hot dog grill out for lunch and will provide drinks and snacks during the movie. Local businesses will provide treats throughout the day.

University Police plan to bring their canine officer to bring joy to all the dog lovers.

University Housing is also providing the opportunity to win prizes for participating in the Study Tip scavenger hunt.

COVID-19 precautions for this event include:

  • Face covering required
  • Six-foot social distance must be maintained
  • Please frequently wash your hands or use hand sanitizer
  • Please do not attend if you are sick
