Postdoctoral Researcher at USDA-ARS Featured in Entomology and Plant Pathology Virtual Seminar

Kelley Clark is a postdoctoral researcher at the USDA-ARS Crop Improvement and Protection Research Unit in Salinas, CA.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology in the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences is hosting postdoctoral researcher Kelley Clark in a virtual seminar today.

Clark is with the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology at the U of A, but is located remotely at USDA facilities in Salinas, California. Her current research focuses on the epidemiology of spinach downy mildew, specifically the contributions of different inoculum sources to disease outbreaks.

Clark received her B.S. in plant sciences at the University of Arizona, after which she worked for one year in industry at a latex company, Yulex (Chandler, AZ). Clark completed her Ph.D. in microbiology and plant pathology at University of California, Riverside where she studied Huanglongbing (HLB), also known as citrus greening and the role of an effector from the HLB-associated bacterium in disease.
