Bumpers College Names Yearly Academic Award Winners, Recognizes Honors Grads

Seven students in six different majors from U of A's Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences were named winners of annual academic awards.

Amber Knoernschild, a human nutrition and dietetics major in the School of Human Environmental Sciences from Allen, Texas, was named the college's Presidential Scholar.

Ragita Pramudya, Mason Cole Castner and Jared Allen Ruff were named Dale Bumpers Distinguished Scholars. Pramudya, in food science, is the Ph.D. recipient; Castner, in crop science from Weatherford, Texas, is the master's degree winner; and Ruff, in poultry science from Springdale, is the undergraduate transfer honoree.

Kathryn Lynn Gardner, a double-major in agricultural education, communication and technology, and agricultural business from Fayetteville, is the John W. White Outstanding Student Award winner.

Logan Gage Moss, an agricultural education, communication and technology, and agricultural business double-major from Rosston, was named winner of the Spitze Public Policy Legislative Internship Award.

Colin Keady, an agricultural education, communication and technology, and political science double-major from Alma, earned the Stanley E. Reed Internship Award.

They were recognized in a virtual ceremony on April 15.
