The Student Affairs Bulletin is the official blog from the Division of Student Affairs. Each issue contains stories about Student Affairs written by staff and students working in the division.

The April issue was sent to subscribers on Saturday, April 3. This issue features a story from Rob Stagni, director of the Arkansas Union. Stagni tells us about what life has been like in the "living room" of campus during a year-long pandemic. The Union managed to stay open during this very difficult time, but it took a lot of moving parts and diligence from the Union staff.

In this issue's Q&As we get to know more about Emilie Hook, associate director of the Arkansas Union, who has been working for her alma mater for more than a decade, and student Gerardo Tavarez Jr., a biology major with a marketing minor who also works in the Arkansas Union.

We also have an article that previously ran in Arkansas News about Parice Bowser, who was just named assistant vice chancellor for Greek Life and associate dean of students. Congratulations to Parice!

The Bulletin newsletter is typically sent to subscribers the first Saturday of the month, with eight to 10 newsletters each year. If you would like to receive the Student Affairs Bulletin newsletter, please send an email with the subject line "Subscribe" to Scott Flanagin, executive director of communications for Student Affairs at sflanagi@uark.edu
