Women's History Month: Women's Library
Did you know that Fayetteville was once home to a Women's Library? Focused on feminist and lesbian literature, this library contained materials that were too controversial to be acquired from the local library or bookstores.
Formed in 1982, the library was a critical resource for early gender and women's studies at the University of Arkansas. The library's contents now reside in Special Collections.
