Read The March Issue of the Student Affairs Bulletin
The Student Affairs Bulletin is the official blog from the Division of Student Affairs. Each issue features stories about Student Affairs, written by staff and students working in the division.
The March issue was sent to subscribers on Saturday, March 6. This issue features a story about Greek Life and how students in Greek organizations have continued with their traditions of service and philanthropy during the pandemic. There is a small photo essay of the campus during the snow that blanketed Fayetteville in February. The university is commemorating its sesquicentennial and kicks off the celebration virtually on March 27. Learn about how to take part in that major anniversary for the U of A. And the Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Campus Food Pantry is celebrating its 10th anniversary and was recently awarded a $100K grant from The Walmart Foundation.
Each issue also has a Q&A with a staff member and a student employee from the Division of Student Affairs. This issue's Q&A are with folks from Greek Life. Helene Wommack is the office manager for Greek Life and she loves working with Greek students. Khalil Buckmire is one of those students and is president of the National Pan-Hellenic Council.
The Bulletin newsletter is typically sent to subscribers the first Saturday of the month, with 8-10 newsletters each year. If you would like to receive the Student Affairs Bulletin newsletter please send an email with the subject line "Subscribe" to Scott Flanagin, executive director of communications for Student Affairs at sflanagi@uark.edu
