Portion of West Avenue To Be Closed for Routine Repairs This Week
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – A portion of West Avenue, located near the east side of the University of Arkansas campus, will be closed for three days this week due to routine road, sidewalk and utility repairs by the City of Fayetteville.
The north portion of West Avenue connecting W Maple St. and W Lafayette St. will be closed starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 8. Weather permitting, the repairs will be completed by Wednesday, Feb. 10. The road will reopen each night after 5 p.m.
Traffic will be diverted to N Vandeventer Ave. for access between W Maple St. and W Lafayette St. during the closure.
