FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Applications are now open for the spring 2021 Commercialization Fellow Internship, a paid internship that pairs students with early-stage technology startups for hands-on experience in market research, customer discovery and grant writing.

The internship is a partnership between the University of Arkansas and Startup Junkie, which oversees SVS. The fellowship is for one semester and includes a $5,000 stipend. Candidates should be advanced senior level or graduate level students who can commit to 20 hours per week.

Each fellow will be partnered with an SVS client company to work over the course of a semester to reach milestones the companies have identified for a successful Small Business Innovation Research or Small Business Technology Transfer proposal.

Applications close Dec. 15. Interviews will be conducted via zoom Dec. 16 and 17. The internship will begin the week of Jan. 4, 2021.
