Five UAPD Canine Officers Keep Campus Safe and Bring Smiles While on Patrol
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Meet Faye, Charlie, Leah, Oakley and Ricky, five of the most unique officers at the University of Arkansas Police Department.
They are canine officers, trained to sniff out danger in the form of explosives and drugs to keep the community and visitors to the U of A safe. They also work to keep the campus community friendly and connected as they walk campus and visit with students, offering stress relief and comfort in difficult times.
