Department of Communication's Yaguang Zhu Wins National Dissertation Award
Yaguang Zhu, assistant professor in the Department of Communication, has won the 2019 Laura Crowell Dissertation Award from the National Communication Association's Group Communication Division.
His dissertation is titled, "Online Support Group Participation and Social Support: Incorporating Identification and Interpersonal Bonds."
Zhu joined the communication department in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences this fall and will recieve his award at the 105th annual gathering of the National Communication Association Nov. 14-17 in Baltimore, Maryland.
