Flu Vaccine Clinic Tomorrow in Union

Flu season is creeping up, and the best way to protect against the flu virus is to get your annual flu vaccine.

Pat Walker Health Center has partnered with the Washington County Health Unit to offer a Halloween flu vaccine clinic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 31, in the Arkansas Union Food Court.

Anyone who hasn't received the flu vaccine is encouraged to attend. Please bring your insurance card if you have one.

Can't make the flu clinic?

The Allergy, Immunization & Travel clinic also has flu vaccines available. Anyone unable to attend the flu clinic, is encouraged to schedule an appointment at myhealth.uark.edu or 479-575-7723. The health center also offers a Walk-in Flu Clinic, from 3 to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, see your primary care physician to help reduce the severity of the flu. To schedule an appointment at the health center, call 479-575-4451 or go to myhealth.uark.edu.

Find more information about the flu on the health center's website.
