Amy Allen, university archivist and author, will be signing copies of her book, University of Arkansas (Campus History), from noon to 3 p.m. this Saturday at the Barnes & Noble in Fayetteville. This event is free and open to the public, and all attendees are welcome to enter a raffle for "university swag."

University of Arkansas (Campus History) is a collection of 215 images from Special Collections documenting the U of A's first 125 years, curated by Allen and former head of Special Collections Tim Nutt.

"There are so many fabulous photographs in Special Collections that I would like to share," said Allen. "I think this book has a wide appeal for anyone who has fond memories of the U of A."

As university archivist, Allen oversees the Special Collections department's materials related to the university. The public is welcome to view and use these materials any time the department is open.
