Walton Career Services at the Sam M. Walton College of Business is kicking off the fall semester with tons of events for students applying for internships and full-time positions, developing a resume or learning about employers. Walton Career Services will host the following events this fall:

August Events:

  • Are you Ready? Pop-Up Shop: Every Tuesday, 9-11 a.m.
  • Corporate Comes to Campus: Aug. 29, 9 a.m. to noon 

September Events:

  • Are you Ready? Pop-Up Shop: Every Tuesday, 9-11 a.m.
  • Walmart Career Fest: Sept. 4, noon to 3 p.m. 
  • Aldi Corporate Spotlight: Sept. 10, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
  • Google Comes to Campus: Sept. 11-13 
  • Walton Retail Career Day: Sept. 12, 11 a.m. to 3:30 pm.   
  • Resume Rescue: Sept. 17 & 18 
  • Pitched Perfect: Sept. 17, 3:30-5:30 p.m. 
  • Diversity in the Workplace Panel: Sept. 18, 4-5 p.m. 
  • Business Career Fair: Sept. 24, 10 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m.

October Events:

  • Are you Ready? Pop-Up Shop: Every Tuesday, 9-11 a.m.
  • capSpire – Company of the Day: Oct. 1, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
  • USA Truck – Company of the Day: Oct. 8, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
  • Walmart Tech Week: Oct. 7-11
  • Leggett & Platt – Company of the Day: Oct. 15, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
  • Tech Careers in Startups: Oct. 24, 5-8 p.m. 
  • Walmart Trivia Night: Oct. 29, 6:30-8 p.m. 

November Events:

  • Are you Ready? Pop-Up Shop: Every Tuesday, 9-11 a.m.
  • Verizon – Company of the Day: Nov. 5, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
  • FIS – Company of the Day: Nov. 12, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  
  • Shopper Marketing Panel: Nov. 12, 4:30-6 p.m. 
  • S.A.M. Talk with Laura Phillips of Walmart: Nov. 13, 2-2:30 p.m. 
  • Goosehead – Company of the Day: Nov. 19, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
