ROGERS, Ark. – Registration is open for July’s Explore Skilled Trades Camp, designed to teach teens about careers in computer technology, health care, auto and diesel repair, welding, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning. Sponsors are needed to provide scholarships for students.

Explore Skilled Trades Camp is set for 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 15-19 at Northwest Technical Institute in Springdale. Online registration is open for participants ages 14 to 19, and the deadline is July 12. The cost is $149.

Sponsors are needed to make the camp accessible to more youth. Organizations can go to the camp website page to become sponsors. Donations will cover registration costs and snacks for students. Sponsor logos will be placed on the Global Campus Rogers website and marketing materials.

Participants will explore science, technology and math through fun, challenging, hands-on activities led by skilled professionals. The program fee includes a T-shirt, insurance and snacks.
