Spoken Word Artist: Carlos Robson Today
University Programs invites students to hear Carlos Robson perform poetry and spoken word at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in the Anne Kittrell Art Gallery located on the fourth floor of the Arkansas Union.
Robson is an award-winning spoken word poet, playwright, and teaching artist. As a "slam" poet, he has competed in local, regional, national, and international competitions, winning the National Poetry Slam championship in 2007 and 2008 as a member of the North Carolina-based team, SlamCharlotte. He has performed in all corners of the nation and on Broadway.
