Razorback Transit Routes are now a part of Google Transit.

Razorback Transit bus routes and scheduling are now available on Google Maps, making it easier for a person to know where to catch a ride later in the day or later in the week.

This will provide great assistance in planning trips, both for regular riders of Razorback Transit and for those who are visiting the area.

Adam Waddell, associate director of transit and parking and the head of Razorback Transit, said it is a very helpful change.

“There was a lot of work that went in to this,” he said. “But we’re excited to make Razorback Transit information available in Google Maps. We believe that this will greatly help our riders.”

To use it, simply go to www.google.com/maps and click on Directions; after that, put in the desired Fayetteville or Northwest Arkansas locations. A person may or may not need to click on the Transit icon.

If you use the Google Maps app on iOS or Android, make a search for your destination and then tap on the bus icon.

Once that is done, the appropriate Razorback Transit routes will come up.
