K-12 Robotics Group Seeks Volunteers

The FIRST Robotics group at the University of Arkansas is seeking volunteers to help support and inspire the next generation of innovators, technology leaders, and change-makers.

A volunteer meeting will take place at 5:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, in White Engineering Hall room 209.

Time commitments for volunteers are wide-ranging, from just a weekend to getting involved as a competition judge or referee. Volunteers with or without technical skills are welcomed, and no prior experience is required for most roles.

Anyone interested is invited to come find out how to get involved in FIRST LEGO League or FIRST Tech Challenge.

Visit www.firstinspires.org to learn more.

Those who are interested but cannot attend the meeting should contact Richard Cassady, co-partner, Arkansas FIRST LEGO League, at cassady@uark.edu, or Leslie Massey, volunteer coordinator, at lbmassey@uark.edu.
