Lot 56 is located north of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and east of Razorback Road.

Construction efforts on the north end of Lot 56 will mean minor changes to those who use Razorback Transit buses in that area.

Beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 19, the west end of West Ladyback Drive will be closed so that work can be completed on a new bus stop on the north part of the lot.

The main bus stop in that area will be temporarily relocated farther south in the lot.

Razorback Transit Routes 11 (green) and 13 (Dickson Street) will be slightly altered to avoid the construction area. Those routes will enter the west side of Lot 56 from Razorback Road at the parking lot entrance that is south of West Ladyback Drive (see map photo).

No major disruptions should occur for those who park in Lot 56, although a few spaces within the actual construction site will be off limits to motorists.

Signs will be posted to prevent any confusion. The work should be completed in a couple of weeks.
