Krav Maga Self-Defense Course Begins Aug. 21; Few Spots Still Available
Pat Walker Health Center's Wellness & Health Promotion department is offering an eight-week Krav Maga self-defense course starting Tuesday, Aug. 21.
The class is held Tuesdays from 5 to 6 p.m. in the health center's new classrooms.
Don't miss your chance to learn this proven self-defense method that incorporates hand-to-hand combat techniques developed by the Israeli Defense Force. This beginner-level class covers ways to escape from a vary of attacks like bear hugs, choke holds, and shirt grabs.
Registration for the course is required and only a limited number of spots are available. The cost of the program is $40 for students and $55 for faculty/staff. No prior experience in Krav Maga is required.
