Teens to Explore Skilled Trades at Summer Camp; Sponsors Needed

ROGERS, Ark. – Registration is open for July’s Explore Skilled Trades Camp, designed to teach teens about careers in truck driving, electronics, robotics, auto and diesel repair, welding, and heating ventilation and air conditioning. Sponsors are needed to provide scholarships for students.

Explore Skilled Trades Camp is set for 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 16-20 at Northwest Technical Institute in Springdale. Online registration is open for participants ages 14 to 19. The cost is $149.

Sponsors are needed to make the camp accessible for more youth. Organizations can go to the Explore Skilled Trades Camp website page to become sponsors. Donations will cover registration costs for students and provide their lunchs. Sponsor logos will be placed on the Global Campus Rogers website and marketing materials.

Participants will explore science, technology, and math through fun, challenging, hands-on activities led by skilled professionals. The program fee includes a T-shirt, insurance and snacks.
