The University Recreation Racquetball club is hosting the third annual Razorback Shootout tournament on Friday and Saturday, March 9-10, in the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building. For the first time in recent history, the tournament will be sanctioned by USA Racquetball, the governing agency of the sport.

Results will be used for rankings and stats within the Arkansas racquetball rankings. The divisions for the tournament include Men's A-D, Women's A and B, and Men's and Women's Doubles. The tournament is open to the public, and all skill levels are welcome to compete.

"Our team has been growing steadily the past three years so we are very excited for the opportunity to host a major tournament in Northwest Arkansas," said Vincent Iannazzo, U of A senior and club president.

"We hope we can grow this into a premier tournament for the state of Arkansas."

Registration for the tournament is open. The cost is $35 for the first event, $25 for the second event, and $10 for the third event.
