FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Lindsay Scott, an alumna of the Sam M. Walton College of Business, will attempt to set a Guinness World record for the fastest time to put on and take off a wetsuit. This event is open to the public and will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5 in the HPER building on the pool deck.

“My New Year’s resolution is to set a world record,” said Scott, who currently lives in Farmington and works as a professional model. “I have been scuba diving since childhood so I thought this would be fun to attempt.”

Scott says she will wear a full jumpsuit with full-coverage undergarments underneath the wetsuit.

There is no current Guinness World Record in this category. Scott worked with Guinness officials to create the category, and her time will be counted if she can put on and take off the wetsuit in 60 seconds or less.

A number of local officials will be on hand to witness, time and verify the record.

Spectators may enter the HPER Building on Level 1, across from the Meadow Street Parking Garage.
