Join the Division of Student Affairs in celebrating the beauty of the changing seasons at the University of Arkansas during the #AutumnAtArkansas student photo contest.

With over 425 acres filled with 2,453 trees from 79 different species all turning different colors and scattering their leaves, the U of A comes alive during the fall. From the changing leaves to fall activities and football games — the Division of Student Affairs wants to see #AutumnAtArkansas through your eyes.

The contest will run from Oct 25 to Nov. 8. All photo entries can be posted on Instagram or Twitter with the tag #AutumnAtArkansas. Photos must have the hashtag to qualify. The original photo file must also be saved for future promotional material for the division.

The winner will receive a gift basket valued at $100 from the University of Arkansas Bookstore. The winning photo will also be featured on the Division of Student Affairs website and social media accounts.

Last year students captured Old Main and maple trees, the sun lighting up the fall skyline and Senior Walk embellished in red, yellow and orange leaves.

Students may submit up to three photos for the contest.

"This contest is a great way for students to explore, capture, and appreciate the beauty of our university campus," Allyson Braggs, social media graduate assistant for the Division of Student Affairs, said. "This is an opportunity for students to show campus how they view campus and what they think #AutumnAtArkansas is. I love seeing everyone's different view points of this amazing season."

All photo rights of submitted images remain with the owner, but the university does retain all rights of use for the photos submitted as well. Photo entries will be judged by students, graduate assistants, and university staff members in the Division of Student Affairs.

Follow Student Affiars on Twitter and Instagram for updates and a look at the submissions to the #AutumnAtArkansas contest.
