If you want to inspire today's youth by becoming a teacher, come to the meeting Oct. 11.

An informational meeting about becoming a secondary school teacher through the University of Arkansas Master of Arts in Teaching Program is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, in the Graduate Education Building auditorium foyer, Room 166.

Lunch will be provided.

Prospective students can:

  • Learn about how to be a licensed secondary teacher in Arkansas
  • Meet with content-area professors
  • Learn about available scholarships
