Department of Art Hosts Year End Exhibit and Ceramics Sale, Sat. May 6
Stock up on unique hand-crafted art pieces and useable ceramics objects during the Department of Art Ceramics Program's Annual End of Year Sale and Open Studio Exhibition from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 6.
Come meet current students and faculty in the Ceramics Program and support the art community.
Graduate, post-baccalaureate and undergraduate work from these J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences students will be on display and for sale in the Ceramics Building, 326 Eastern Avenue. The event is free and open to the public.
The exhibition will highlight this semester's most exceptional work, from beginning-level student assignments to the independent works of advanced undergraduate and graduate students. Snacks and beverages will be available with the purchase of handmade bowls and cups.
Funds from the sale help the program bring in visiting lecture artists, help students attend the annual NCECA ceramics conference, and support various community-building events for students.
This is a unique opportunity for the public to view diverse works during various stages of the artistic process as well as the ceramic studio facilities and activities.
