Students Can Give Back With the Gift of Razorback Basketball

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — With the fall semester winding down before the holidays, University of Arkansas students can now give back to their community with just a few online clicks. Razorback Athletics and the Associated Student Government have teamed up to provide turn back student tickets to area non-profit and charitable organizations to select Razorback men's basketball games over the holiday break.

Access Pass holders who are heading home for the holidays may donate their men's basketball seats back and Razorback Athletics will distribute to local organizations within the Fayetteville and the surrounding communities. Donating seats is easy as a click of a mouse and the entire process be completed in less than a minute.

Students may click on the link below and give back their student admission to as many as three Razorback men's basketball games including:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 20, vs. North Dakota State — 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, Dec. 29, vs. Florida — 8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 10, vs. Mississippi State — 8 p.m.

"As a student, it's easy to take advantage of the privilege we have been given to easily attend Razorback athletics events," ASG President Connor Flocks said. "This is intended to be the season of giving, and we're excited to use this opportunity to relinquish an everyday accessibility in order to provide a memorable experience to kids in the Northwest Arkansas community. It's times like these that make me proud to be a part of the Razorback family."

"We always love having our students at Bud Walton Arena to cheer on our guys, but we realize that during the holiday break many students leave campus and aren't able to attend all of the games," said Mike Anderson, Arkansas head men's' basketball coach. "Thanks to our partnership with ASG, this is a great opportunity for students to give back as well as introduce new fans to Razorback Basketball. With the start of SEC play earlier than ever before, I want to encourage students who can't make it to make an assist with the Holiday giveback program and help us fill up Bud Walton Arena."

Access Pass holders can make their ticket donation now by clicking here.
