FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Sam M. Walton College of Business is hosting its 24th annual Walton College Block Party from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, on Shollmier Plaza, to welcome business students to campus.

"Students have the opportunity to grab lunch, listen to Trey O'Dell sing, meet faculty and learn about student organizations and university resources in a two-hour period on the plaza," said Matthew A. Waller, dean of the Walton College. "It is fast, fun and free."

Students, faculty and staff will enjoy free hot dogs, pizza, frozen custard and drinks, along with music and informational booths set up along the plaza courtyard area. Organizations and clubs available to Walton students will participate in the event.

Trey O'Dell, a former contestant on NBC's The Voice and current Walton College student, will perform for attendees. The singer/songwriter plans to major in supply chain management. Learn more about O'Dell at treyodell.com.

The Block Party is made possible through sponsors Pepsi, Shake's Frozen Custard, Frito-Lay, Eureka Pizza and Marvin's Savers Club Fayetteville.
