Goering Elected to National Organization's Conference Committee

University of Arkansas professor Chris Goering has been elected to the Conference on English Education Executive Committee of the National Council of Teachers of English.

The four-year term won by Goering, who is an associate professor of English education, will begin in November. The executive committee is responsible for governing the conference.

Goering has been a member of the National Council of Teachers of English since 1998. He directs the Northwest Arkansas Writing Project and the Center for children and Youth, both based in the College of Education and Health Professions.
