Wi-Fi Expansion Work Continues in Arkansas Union, Mechanical Engineering Building

Work continues this week as part of the Achieve IT: Network Everywhere project to add improved Wi-Fi in academic buildings. In preparation for installing new wireless access points, IT Services network engineers and contractors are currently working to add cabling in the Arkansas Union and Mechanical Engineering Building.

So far, improved Wi-Fi is available in nine out of 30 academic buildings. Wi-Fi improvements in all academic buildings are expected to be completed by early fall. Updated information about the project, as well as a feedback form to communicate with university network engineers, is available on the Network Everywhere page of the Campus IT website.
