WASHINGTON – A Little Rock native has been making himself known to Northwest Arkansas residents while serving as an intern at U.S. Senator John Boozman’s office in Lowell this semester.

Samuel Wui, a 2012 graduate of Central High School, is participating in Boozman’s Congressional Fall Internship program. As an intern, Wui is responsible for handling local constituent correspondence and representing Senator Boozman when Arkansans call and visit the office.

“I have learned a lot about how the office runs and how Senator Boozman collaborates with other agencies in the state. It has been great to learn how the Senator doesn’t just vote on issues in Washington, but directly helps people in Arkansas with many different issues,” Wui said.

“Samuel has been a tremendous help to the people of Arkansas during his internship in my Lowell office. I appreciate his commitment and dedication to serving Arkansans,” Boozman said.

Wui is a senior at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he is pursuing a dual degree in Political Science and Economics. He is the son of Mr. Yong Wui and Mrs. Kwak Inyoung of Little Rock.
