Reception Planned for Steve Boss

The Graduate School and International Education will host a reception for Steve Boss, professor of geosciences, at 4 p.m. on Nov. 17, in Ozark Hall 206.

The reception is to honor Boss' service as the director of the interdisciplinary doctoral program in environmental dynamics. Boss is stepping down as the director after spending 13 years at the program's helm. Boss will continue to serve as a professor and mentor to graduate students in geosciences and environmental dynamics.

Peter Ungar will take on the leadership of the environmental dynamics program beginning Jan. 4.

Colleagues and acquaintances are invited to attend Boss' reception. Brief remarks will be given at 4:30 p.m., and refreshments will be available.
