University Conference and Event Planners to Host Vendor Fair

University of Arkansas Conference and Event Planners, a group that supports conference and event planners on campus, will host a vendor fair from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, in the Arkansas Union Ballroom.

"We wanted event planners on campus to have an opportunity to shop local providers under one roof," said Michele Payne, chair of the University of Arkansas Conference and Event Planners. "The vendor fair will be helpful for anyone planning a campus event, wedding, reunion, student or Greek Life event."

Entertainment will be provided by Noteworthy Productions and will include performances by the University of Arkansas Jazz Ensemble and a duet performance by Rick Salonen and Claudia Burson. Caterers will provide free samples and venues will offer free night hotel stays.

The fair will include top conference and event professionals such as venue representatives, caterers, entertainers, photographers, production service companies, promotional item suppliers and full-service event planners. Companies attending the event include event sponsors and vendors.

  • Director Sponsors: The Arkansas Union, Chartwells, Noteworthy Productions, KFB Events, Fayetteville Town Center and Hilton Garden Inn.
  • Associate Sponsors: The Inn at Carnall Hall and JTH Productions.
  • Guest Sponsors: The Chancellor Hotel, The Event Group, Pratt Place Inn and The Northwest Arkansas Naturals.
