Services Back Online Following Data Center Outage Wednesday Morning
Some online services were unavailable early Wednesday morning when an uninterruptible power supply unit in the IT Services data center unexpectedly went down at approximately 4 a.m. Power was fully restored at 6:10 a.m., and all IT Services-managed hosts were available by 8 a.m.
Services affected by the outage include Comp, Cavern, the university Web presence, Isofax, SAS BI, as well as systems managed by Facilities Management, Walton College of Business, UALR, the Campus Card Office and Mechanical Engineering.
