ROGERS, Ark. – Registration is now open for two hands-on, instructor-led computer training workshops offered by the University of Arkansas Global Campus next week. OneNote 2013 is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, at 3300 Market St. in Rogers. Access 2013 Part 1-Basics will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 22, at 2 E. Center St. on the downtown Fayetteville square.

Both workshops are open to the public, and the cost for each is $159. University of Arkansas faculty and staff may attend for $99. Each attendee will receive a course textbook and certificate of completion. Seating is limited to 12 participants to ensure a low instructor-to-participant ratio. Register online.

In Access 2013 Part 1-Basics, attendees will learn to get started with Microsoft Access, work with table data, query a database, create advanced queries, generate reports and customize the Access environment.

The OneNote 2013 workshop topics will include exploring notebook structure; adding content and formats to a OneNote notebook; managing OneNote notebooks, history and backups; working with Excel spreadsheets and embedded files; sharing and collaborating with notebooks; and finalizing a notebook.
