Razorback Charters, part of the University of Arkansas Parking Office, offers charter bus service for most university activities.

Razorback Charters offers two buses, with seating for 32 passengers, and one wheelchair lift van with seating for 10 and one wheelchair. They are available for trips within a 75-mile radius of campus on a regular basis and occasional trips to other points of interest in the region, when feasible. Charter bus trips will be driven by qualified bus operators with the appropriate commercial driver's license.

Charter buses are a good transit option for the following:

  • Class field trips
  • University conferences
  • New student recruiting
  • Special events
  • Any event needing shuttles

The mission of Razorback Charters is to provide clean, safe, reliable and affordable transportation services to the students, faculty, staff and official visitors of the University of Arkansas, providing cost containment initiatives for the departments utilizing these services.

To request charter bus service, please contact A.J. Bellard in Transit and Parking at 479-575-7913 to make arrangements, or you may submit the request online at the Transit and Parking website. Charter services request should be submitted at least five working days before the bus service is required. Download a PDF Flier for more information.

Charter rates are $110 per hour with a two-hour minimum per charter trip. Charges will accrue from the time the bus leaves the bus lot until it returns to the bus lot.  Charges for waiting time during the trip will accrue at the same hourly rate on most occasions.  Cancellation of a charter must be received at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled trip, to avoid the minimum two-hour service charge.

When you schedule university charter bus service, you will receive prompt, courteous and safe transportation service from well-trained, licensed drivers and clean well maintained buses.  Please call the Razorback Charters Manager at the above number if you have any questions about bus availability or scope of charter service.
