The University of Arkansas is currently conducting a paid research study for adults age 21-45 years of age. Compensation will be provided — $190 for completion of the entire study.

The study involves eating Korean rice cake on each of the 3 days, which are spaced one week apart. At each of the 3 visits, seven blood samples (intravenously) will be collected over 3hours. Participants will be asked to provide one fecal sample. The study involves measuring the following:

• Questionnaires on health and medical history
• Food frequency questionnaire
• Blood glucose, insulin, and satiety hormone levels
• Satiety through visual analogue scales
• Fecal gut microbiota
