The Laboratory for Anxiety and Substance Abuse Research at the University of Arkansas is conducting a study designed to examine links between personality and sensory perception. Currently, the laboratory is looking for men over the age of 21 to participate in this study. Participation in this study will include alcohol consumption. If you are a male who is a current drinker and over the age of 21, you may be eligible to participate in this study. Participation in this study will contribute to an understanding of how personality affects preferences for certain products, including alcohol.

The study will involve completion of questionnaires, a taste test of various beers, and a consumer evaluation of construction tools. Participation in the study takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete. Participants may be compensated up to $20 or 1.5 SONA credits for their time. The study will be conducted in late afternoons or early evenings during the week and on weekends to accommodate most schedules.

Participation requires a brief telephone screening to determine eligibility. If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please contact Jessica at the Laboratory for Anxiety and Substance Research at 479-259-1738 or by email at Personality.UofA@gmail.com and ask about the alcohol and personality study.
