Spring Break Safety Event Today in Arkansas Union

Students will have the opportunity to learn about spring break safety from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, Monday, March 16, in the Union Connections Lounge.

"Don't Sink the Titanic – Spring Break Life Savers" is a collaborative effort between ROAR (Razorbacks Offering Accountability Resources) and RESPECT (Rape Education Services by Peers Encouraging Conscious Thought).

ROAR and RESPECT will cover topics such as alcohol, consent, sexual assault, general safety (using sunscreen, staying hydrated, charging your phone), knowing the laws of your destination and bystander intervention.

Students can participate in spring break related games while learning about having a fun and safe week. ROAR and RESPECT are supported by Wellness and Health Promotion at the Pat Walker Health Center. To learn more about all the health center's services, visit health.uark.edu
