Philanthropist, Veterinarian Who Climbed Mount Everest to Speak April 1
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – "No Place But Up," a presentation by Lance Fox, a philanthropist, veterinarian and motivational speaker, is set for 5 p.m. April 1 at the John W. Tyson Building on the University of Arkansas campus, room A211. The Poultry Science Graduate Association is sponsoring the event.
Fox, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine who has climbed Mount Everest, is currently a technical director over the animal nutrition and health division of a major U.S. company. He also leads the Healthy Yak philanthropic organization, whose mission is to promote the health and welfare of animals, primarily yaks, and the horses residing within the Khumbu Valley of Nepal.
