Senior Network Engineer Louis Wessels Earns Juniper Networks Certification

Louis Wessels, a senior network engineer on the IT Services Network Engineering Team, recently earned the Juniper Networks Certified Professional Enterprise Routing and Switching (JNCIP-ENT) certification. The JNCIP-ENT is the third level of a four-tier certification track that requires extensive experience and testing.

In addition to his contribution to the professional expertise of campus IT, Wessels was instrumental in the resolution of core router issues affecting campus Internet service in September 2014. Wessels is currently working on a project to enhance campus network reliability and increase campus Internet speeds.

Wessels has an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado and is a former Air Force major.
