Parent & Family Programs in collaboration with the Arkansas Union will host the second annual Parent Partnership Association Holiday Tree Lighting at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4. Join members of the Division of Student Affairs and the Razorback Mascots in lighting the tree on the 4th floor landing of the Arkansas Union.

It is the goal of the PPA Holiday Tree to celebrate all campus organizations, beliefs, and religions during the holiday season.  The tree features ornaments decorated by Registered Student Organizations and offices in the Division of Student Affairs.  Additional ornaments to decorate are available in New Student & Family Programs, ARKU A688, while supplies last.

“Our hope is that the PPA Holiday Tree provides a sense of comfort and home for all students as they finish up their semester. I look forward to this becoming a tradition that students, faculty, and staff members join us in each year as we celebrate the holiday season with the Razorback family,” said Alison Leach, assistant director of Parent & Family Programs.

Any questions about the PPA Holiday Tree Lighting can be directed to New Student & Family Programs at 479-575-5002 or parents@uark.edu.
