New Virtual Private Network Software

On Nov. 18, Junos Pulse will be released as the university’s enterprise virtual private network (VPN) software. VPN provides a secure connection to campus resources for off-campus users.

The new VPN software replaces Network Connect, which is no longer supported by its vendor, and offers forward compatibility with current operating systems.

VPN access is available at vpn.uark.edu using a Web browser. After the new software is released on Nov. 18, IT Services recommends that users who installed the Network Connect software uninstall and then download Junos Pulse at vpn.uark.edu.
