Divergent concludes the Action Movie Series for the month of November. The film was released in March 2014 and earned $288 million at the worldwide box office. The story takes place in a dystopian post-apocalyptic version of Chicago where people are divided into distinct factions based on human virtues. Beatrice Prior, played by Shailene Woodley, is warned that she is Divergent and thus will never fit into any one of the factions and soon learns that a sinister plot is brewing in her seemingly perfect society. Come be a part of the science fiction action and join University Programs for this month’s movie series. There will be free popcorn and drinks.
