Last Minute Heroes Pushing Live United Totals Closer to the Top
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas Everyday Heroes Live United campaign has reached 81 percent of its $150,000 goal – just over $121,000.
“We’d like to thank all the Everyday Heroes who have already made a donation,” said Kathy Deck, campaign co-chair. “And for everyone who has been waiting until the last minute – this is the last minute!”
“We also need to thank our hard-working campus coordinators and their volunteers across campus,” said Marty Matlock, the campaign’s second co-chair. “They’re the reason we’ve been able to raise this much in less than a month. They’ve been true Everyday Heroes. And they’re the reason we’ll reach our goal, too – their efforts to get the last of those Hero Cards in before the Friday night deadline.”
Faculty and staff members still have one day to make a donation – no matter what size – either online or with their personal Hero Cards. And either way, everyone who turns in a Hero Card is eligible for a drawing to win one of 6 remaining $100 gift cards on Friday, on Nov. 7.
