D.N.P. Student Makes Presentation to Retired Nurses Group

Kathy Krantz, an advanced practice registered nurse, employee of the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville and a graduate student in the University of Arkansas Doctor of Nursing Practice program, made a presentation to the Retired Nurses of Northwest Arkansas on Sept. 30.

Krantz's presentation was titled “Nursing in the 21st Century” with a focus on Advanced Practice Nursing nationally and in the state of Arkansas. She talked about educational pathways available in Arkansas and gave an overview of the D.N.P. program of study.

The Doctor of Nursing Practice is delivered online by the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing at the University of Arkansas.
