FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Tiffany King, an award winning broadcast journalist, will be the newest instructor in the Walter J. Lemke Department of Journalism in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Science. She will teach courses in television news producing and broadcast news reporting.

King has nearly 15 years of experience as a television news reporter and anchor. During her career she covered Presidential Inaugurations, the aftermath of natural disasters, court cases and Razorback athletics. She has received numerous Associated Press Awards. 

King received her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Missouri – Columbia and her master’s degree in journalism from the University of Arkansas.

Most recently, she has begun exploring long-form journalism and documentary film making. King wrote and produced the film Oak Cemetery: A Forgotten Place, which details segregation, integration and the history of the African American Cemetery in Fayetteville. Her thesis film, Paws in Prison: A Second Chance, takes a look at an Arkansas Department of Corrections program that pairs inmates with unwanted dogs slated to be euthanized. The inmates rehabilitate the dogs and place them up for adoption.
