Meditation Group Offered Weekly for Campus Community

Students, faculty and staff interested in meditation are invited to join a weekly group hosted in the Pat Walker Health Center.

Cultivating a meditation practice can benefit general well-being and improve a person’s ability to cope with challenges and difficult emotions.

Participants will be provided with basic meditation instructions and the philosophy of meditation. Most of the hour will be spent practicing guided and unguided meditations.

New and experienced meditators are welcome. There is no fee for this group and you can come as your schedule allows.

The group meets in the Pat Walker Health Center room 283 on Tuesdays from 3-4 p.m. until Oct. 14. Beginning Oct. 24 through Dec. 5, the meditation group will be offered on Fridays from 3-4 p.m.
